Dani fuller

ARTIST | OWNER

Dani Fuller received her BFA in illustration from the American Academy of Art, Chicago and worked as a freelance artist in the city for 12 years before accepting a job as Creative Art Director with the River Centre Foundation in 2014.  Dani Fuller is now owner of the Fuller Art House in downtown Sylvania.

“I wouldn’t call myself a gallery owner, I’m simply Dani. I believe that’s all I need. I want to create a space that draws people in. I want to entertain you, expose you to great art, with big love and genuine joy. I want to pique your creativity in unusual ways, with lights and wildflowers and tables built by hand, drawing you into an unpredictable art house. Sit at my table, get your hands messy with curiosity; listen to poetry; join a pop-up dinner party beneath crudely strung flea-market chandeliers.”

Raja Aossey

ARTIST | ART THERAPIST

Raja Aossey, ATR-BC, is a Board Certified Art Therapist who currently works with children and families at Michigan Medicine’s C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. Raja graduated from Lourdes University in 2011 and went on to pursue graduate training at Mount Mary University to become an Art Therapist.

“I believe that creating art is a healing and life-enriching practice. My work as a mixed media artist is inspired by the intersection of community and connection. My own personal artwork is rooted in collage and mixed media techniques. I am inspired by flora and fauna and the way everything in nature connects. I love the looseness and flexibility of watercolor, and have recently found a love for the meditative process of ceramics. I believe that art is limitless and powerful.”

Deb Buchanan

ARTIST | OIL PAINTER

Deb Buchanan earned a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design and received her Masters in Education from Bowling Green State University. While at BGSU she was fortunate enough to study painting with world renowned artist Patrick Betaudier. Deb has exhibited in numerous exhibitions locally, regionally, and nationally.  she began drawing at age twelve, purchasing “How to Draw” books with money she earned babysitting and taught herself the more technical aspects of drawing.

“As an artist I am compelled to develop artwork based on color, composition, creativity, and contrast. I strive for technical excellence. My work is an extension of myself and expresses my thoughts, feelings, and vision as an artist.”

Larry S. Golba

ARTIST | OIL | WATERCOLOR

Larry S. Golba received his Bachelor of Science in Art Education degree from Bowling Green State University in 1971 and a Master of Arts from Eastern Michigan University in 1976. He taught art in the Bedford Public Schools system from 1971 –2001, served on the Art Education Faculty at EMU in 1976, and has conducted numerous local and regional painting classes and watercolor workshops.

“My earliest recollection of painting was probably in grade school. I knew at age 8 or 9 I wanted to be an artist. My style has to do with the calligraphy of my brush strokes.   It’s like handwriting – everybody’s style is unique – painting is much the same way. To those that say you have to travel to do great art, I disagree. An artist can find beautiful things in just about every scene – you just have to go out there and experience it.”

Anne Kindl

ARTIST | PASTEL

Anne Kindl graduated from the College of Design at Iowa State University with a BFA in Graphic Design. After a 25-year career in corporate and nonprofit art and graphic design, she left to pursue her love of fine art.

“Nature has been a constant healing force throughout my life and allows my soul to breathe in this often-crazy world. The elements of nature are the pillars on which my art is developed. The water, trees and sky provide unlimited exploration and I’m fascinated with the complexities the variations of light and color in nature offer. My intent is to bring the essence of a moment to the canvas using vibrant hues and beautiful marks. My ultimate hope is to continue to share this journey of learning with others who have found the courage and creativity to express themselves through art.”
