I began drawing at age twelve, although always interested in “crafty” activities as a child. I purchased “How to Draw” books with money I earned babysitting and taught myself the more technical aspects of drawing. Awarded a scholarship to Columbus College of Art and Design, I earned a BFA. Then after studying a summer in Europe, I went on to earn a Masters in Education from Bowling Green State University. While at BGSU I was fortunate enough to study painting with world renowned artist Patrick Betaudier. 

I have exhibited in numerous exhibitions locally, regionally, nationally, and have been honored with a plethora of awards. My work is represented by the Toledo Museum of Art’s Collector’s Corner, Toledo, Ohio and the Fuller Art House and Hudson Gallery, Sylvania, Ohio.
