2 day Ornament Making Class with Maggie Stansley – Tuesday Night

All participants will receive a block of clay and carving tools, glazes, ornament accessories & kiln firings. Participants will leave with up to 12 ornaments. Some will be easier to create and others will be more intricate.   Come ready to be festive!  The gallery will be in holiday mode with holiday beverages on tap! Pieces will be available for pick up one week after classes are complete.

DATES:  2 classes | Tuesday, Nov 30th & Dec 7th from 6pm to 8pm

MATERIALS NEEDED
1. Apron (we sell in gallery too)

CLASS SCHEDULE
Day 1:
● Overview of materials & ceramics process
● Demonstration
● Independent work time (with my assistance if needed)

Day 2:
● Glazing Demonstration
● Class glaze

Maggie is a studio potter from Asheville, NC. She studied ceramics at Queens University of Charlotte and Penland School of Arts & Crafts. She creates functional pots that are intended to be used daily. Each piece is made with purpose and joy from loving the ceramic art. She currently resides in Ann Arbor, MI and even more than pottery, she loves time spent with her husband and two boys.
